American chain of drive-in restaurants Sonic has launched new holiday mint desserts, the Vanilla Holiday Mint Shake and Chocolate Holiday Mint Molten Cake Sundae.
The two seasonal desserts are claimed to be made with Sonic's real ice cream.
The Vanilla Holiday Mint Shake features Sonic's hand-mixed real ice cream Vanilla Shake as well as crushed holiday mints, topped with whipped topping.
Chocolate Holiday Mint Molten Cake Sundae has molten chocolate cake, filled with hot fudge and covered with real ice cream, crushed holiday mints, whipped topping and a cherry.
The holiday dessert items are available only for a limited time through December.
Commenting on the launch, Sonic Product Innovation vice president Chef Claes Petersson said, "We are known for our great desserts, and the holiday season presents an opportunity to do something fun with the nostalgic flavor of mint."
Currently, Sonic has more than 3,500 drive-ins serving approximately three million customers everyday across the country.
