Craft brewery Sprecher Brewing is now packaging two of its beverages in metal cans supplied by CROWN Beverage Packaging North America, a business unit of Crown Holdings.
Sprecher's Special Amber and Root Beer are now being sold in 12oz beverage cans, as they help expand drinking occasions for beer-loving consumers.
The transition to metal packaging has allowed the company to reach out to key customer targets, resulting in a perceptible growth in sales since the initial launch.
Crown provided advice to Sprecher both in terms of color and imagery.
Sprecher Brewing president Jeff Hamilton said he was pleased with its relationship with Crown.
"Crown played a critical role for us from the early stages of transition all the way to launch. But more importantly, they understand our needs as a craft brewery and have provided us with flexibility when it comes to order sizes," said Hamilton.
Wisconsin-based Sprecher brands are currently sold in 27 states across the US.
