A 40 year retired industrial art teacher's project by Robert Sanchez Rivera is creating quite the commotion in Puerto Rico.Mr.Sanchez's flying saucer home actually does not have anything to do with anticipated encounters with aliens.Just the average industrial design graduate accomplishing his childhood goals that included building a house that was unlike any other.

All of the UFO house's pieces have been hand-picked from discount-score knickknacks and discarded car parts.Mr.Sanchez's keen ability to theme his home to match the exterior adds an out of this world effect!(See interior pics below)
'When he first started the lighting,he would walk all the way down to the corner and see how it looked,'Ms.Martinez says,as she and her son,Leandro,24,and Mr.Rivera move into the house to sit at the kitchen table,which hovers several feet off the floor.'On three occasions he went down to the corner.Then he would see the attitude of the people when he turned on the lights'they wouldn't know he was the owner of the house'and he would hear,'That looks better now,''Yeah,''Right.''–NY Times quoting Mr.Sanchez.
