Plastic closure manufacturer Bericap Brazil has received the FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000 Certificate for Food Safety Management System.
According to the company, the ISO-based certification is internationally accepted certification scheme for auditing and certification of food safety in the whole supply chain.
The certification is followed by companies that look to pursue a better integrated management system as legally required.
Food manufacturers and producers must be able to verify that the processes used to produce the items are safe in order to provide quality products, Bericap said.
