Tata Steel Has Invested Its New Corrosion-Resistant Coating Line in UK

Reportedly Tata Steel has invested £3.6 million in its new corrosion-resistant coating line in Zodiac plant, UK. This investment enables Tata to meet customer's need for high-value, high-formability automotive steels that making fuel efficient and lighter-weight vehicles. Meanwhile its annual capacity will be up by 25% to 500,000 per year. Henrik Adam, Tata Steel's Chief Commercial Officer in Europe said this upgrade caters to its key automotive customers in Europe with high formability. This investment follows the relight of No.4 blast furnace at Port Talbot and the restart of the hot strip mill and pickling line at Llanwern.
