Proceeded from the most massively produced and most popular X80 products, relying on production-controlled technology progress, expensive alloy addictive is reduced. In the second half of last year, breakthroughs have been made in low alloy manufacturing technology among one of the X 80 specifications, realizing massive and stable production,and extend such technology to certain specification of X70 successfully in the short time.
Since this year, Baosteel Co., Ltd. Has further promoted this work. On account of X60 and lower grade product, refining performance shall be researched. In the first half of this year, low cost technology shift is basically completed for X60 and lower grades. As for X65, X70 and X80 products, alloy system and manufacturing process optimization shall be done based on the achievements, continuously improve control technology of the following sequence and reduce the alloy cost. New process has set up higher demand on rolling control, cooling, machinery capacity, etc. Under the collaborative efforts of production, sales and research team, full grades coverage is realized for X serial low cost pipe line steel, not only reducing the per ton cost, but also further optimize the product properties.
