3,183 visitors came aboard the double decker bus, which kicked off its tour at Toy R Us's Southampton store.
The Crayola Bus Tour came to an end on September 3rd, which enjoyed fantastic consumer response with 3,183 visitors coming aboard the branded double decker.
Kicking off on August 24th at the Southampton Toys R Us store, the bus travelled around the UK visiting retailers, including Smyths and Hobbycraft.
“The bus looked fantastic and we’re really pleased with how well it was received from consumers,“ said Cheryl Read, senior brand manager at Crayola.
“The tour was a perfect way to celebrate 100 years of colour in the UK and a great opportunity for visitors to experience a wide range of Crayola products.
“We are looking into 2017 to evolve the campaign to engage more consumers as we have identified this form of engagement as an ideal way to promote the Crayola brand and product ranges.”
The tour also proved popular on social media, with guests uploading their pictures to Twitter using the #CrayolaOnTour hashtag.
Sinead Byrne, joint head of marketing at Smyths Toys, added: "It was fantastic to have the Crayola bus visiting five of our stores during the celebratory tour, it gave our customers the chance to fully engage and immerse themselves in the UK’s biggest and most recognisable creative play brand.
"We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the tour, which received great customer feedback both in person and on social media as well as resulting in an increase in Crayola sales across the stores that hosted the Crayola Bus."
The tour has also been shortlisted for a number of experiential campaign awards through Event Magazine.
