British Automaker Vauxhall to Launch an Entry Level Five Door Model

British automaker Vauxhall is planning to launch an entry level five door model named Viva next summer.

Viva will join the ranks of the company's other small cars which including A-sector ADAM and Corsa supermini. Vauxhall is planning to launch the new car with wide range of trim option and it will come in either four or five seat option.

The company has not announced the details of the engine but it is expected to have 1.0 to 1.4-liters of petrol engine.

Vauxhall claims that Viva will have design and durability similar to its other range of car and will be designed for everyday use.

Vauxhall Marketing Director Peter Hope said: "This bold, radical name will attract attention and engender curiosity in the car."

Reports suggest that Vauxhall, which is a British subsidiary of General Motors is planning to sell Viva under Opel brand in Australia.
