Mars Chocolate North America has unveiled a new addition to the DOVE Chocolate lineup, known as DOVE Fruit.
The new treat comes in cranberry, cherry and blueberry flavours, said to be the three top-selling fruits in the market, combining the flavour of real fruit with DOVE Dark Chocolate.
The DOVE Fruit will be available in the market in two different sizes-2.83-ounces (SRP: $1.99-$2.59) and 6.0-ounces (SRP: $3.59-$4.79).
The company is also offering a special 26-ounce bag at select warehouse stores for the suggested retail price of $10.89.
Commenting on the launch, DOVE brand director Kerry Cavanaugh said: "We're excited to add this real-fruit snacking option to the DOVE Chocolate family.
"We know snackers and chocolate lovers have been clamoring for something like this. In fact, dark chocolate is the fastest growing category3 in confections and fruit is the fastest growing snacking category, so it's the perfect combination and the perfect time."
The new addition has been launched at a special fruit market in New York City's Grand Central Terminal.
