Fuji Xerox Australia has been appointed to the NSW Government Finance and Service panel to supply printer and imaging equipment to the NSW Government.
The NSW state government's 2012 Information & Communications Technology (ICT) strategy was released earlier this year and showed the government sector plans to use ICT services to "transform service delivery models and enhance public sector productivity to benefit the entire state".
A recent report released by Federal Finance Minister Penny Wong, which looked at streamlining ICT costs for government, cited that 'whole-of-government' panels for photocopiers and printers will save $19.4 million over a six-year period.
"Over the last few years Fuji Xerox Australia has worked diligently to enhance its services and capabilities to be amongst the most efficient and innovative offerings on the market today," said Fuji Xerox Australia's NSW general manager Greg Mills. "We are confident that our solutions set will bring greater productivity to government departments enabling them to streamline work processes and meet fiscal obligations."
