LetMobile Announced a New Version of Its Secure Mobile E-Mail Gateway Product.

LetMobile , a leading provider of Secure Corporate Collaboration Solutions for Personal Mobile Devices, today announced a new version of its Secure Mobile E-mail Gateway product. LetMobile is the first to offer a gateway-based DLP and fine-grained access control for Email and attachments on mobile devices. The new DLP engine enables IT and security professionals to set data security policies according to:

- User identity, type or Active Directory group
- Device type and whether it is running rogue OS versions (jailbroken or rooted)
- Geographical location, allowing implementation of various compliance policies
- The IP address in use, allowing for different policies for access from the office vs. on the go
- The sensitivity of the data the user is attempting to access, based on LetMobile rules and/or content classification by the corporate DLP system

In addition, the new LetMobile version introduces a new support for Windows Phone 8 allowing secure viewing of email attachments

Other new features include a set of productivity enhancement and security features:
- Active Directory integration using the LDAP/S protocol.
- New API to allow third-party solution providers to integrate LetMobile
- New modes to allow users secure access to corporate messages while offline

"The LetMobile gateway never stores corporate mail, attachments or log-on credentials on the device, thus providing a powerful data security framework for corporate data on personal devices. The newly introduced DLP engine and fine grained access control policies add yet another layer of security for a variety of use cases" says Eran Livne, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at LetMobile. "As before, this is achieved without interruption to the native user experience." he adds. "The intuitive management station, user self-service portal and low-touch deployment models make the solution very cost-effective for any organization," concludes Mr. Livne.
