Elite International Foods is recalling the Margaritaville brand dressings as they contain mustard which is not mentioned on the label, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
The recall affects Margaritaville Sweet French Style Dressing of 414ml featuring lot code begins with: 12128C best before: 13/NO/07, UPC 0 72736 03226 6; lot code begins with: 12117A, best before: 13/OC/27.
These products have been distributed across Canada. There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of these products.
Consumers intolerant to mustard are advised not to consume these products as it may result in a serious or life-threatening reaction.
Elite International Foods is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace, while the CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
