Reportedly, Altos Hornos de México, S.A.B. de C.V. (AHMSA), the second largest steelmaker in Mexico announced to restart its hot strip mill operation after 9 days schedule maintenance.
Meanwhile, the company also indicated there is no any production lost during the maintenance period because the company has already reserved stock ahead.
In the meantime, the maintenance procedure has included adequate availability of equipment and systems for continuous operation of the strip line during 2013 which is worth approximately US$10.3 million.
