TESEQ AG,the Switzerland based manufacturer of EMC measurement and test devices,has won the Swiss Economic Award for 2012,the country's most important start-up company prize.
TESEQ AG,which was founded in 2006 from the test device division of Schaffner AG,was winner in the category high-tech/biotech for its corporate achievements.
According to company CEO Johannes Schmid,who accepted the prize,the company"will keep on growing".
The management buyout put a new focus on the EMC test devices.
TESEQ now has 14 subsidiaries in 9 countries,primarily in Europe,Asia and the US.
The 200 employee company has six calibration laboratories and the number of new standard-setting test devices developed since its founding is impressive.
The company manufactures test systems in Luterbach,Switzerland and Berlin,Germany.It has sales and service offices in Switzerland,Germany,UK,France,US,Japan,China,Singapore and Taiwan.
Accredited test laboratories are in Switzerland,Germany,UK,US,Singapore and Japan.
The"Swiss Economic Award",has been awarded annually to outstanding start-up companies since 1999.It is considered the most important corporate development prize in Switzerland,and not just because of the prize money of 75,000–25,000 Swiss francs in each of the three categories.
