Huawei Technologies Founder Ren Zhengfei responded to doubts over the network security in the US when talking about the future development plans of the company in New Zealand.
He pointed out that Huawei Technologies have had no network built in the US and sold no key equipment to local mainstream carriers or government agencies, who are not major customers of the company. Hence, the network security of the nation has nothing to do with Huawei Technologies in the past, at present or in the future.
