Risk Strategies Company (RSC), an insurance brokerage, has appointed John Wilcox as its new president and chief operating officer.
Wilcox, who will report to RSC chief executive officer Michael Christian, will be responsible for positioning the company for continued national growth, apart from further expanding it's client services portfolio.
Christian said Wilcox brings deep insurance, financial services and management consulting experience, which will help expand the company's management team and positions it for continued growth.
"Our clients will benefit from John's expertise and operational skills and his addition will allow me to focus on strategic growth and client service initiatives,"Christian added.
Wilcox said: "After working in risk management, insurance, and consulting for more than 20 years, the next logical step for me was to help run a growth company that can leverage my experience."
Wilcox joins RSC from The Hartford Financial Services Group, where he recently served as senior vice president of strategic planning, in addition to previous roles that includes leadership of the Personal Lines business and head of strategy for the P&C company.
Prior to joining The Hartford, Wilcox also served as vice president at Hyperion Capital Management and worked for McKinsey & Company.
