Italy-based luxury carmaker Maserati has unveiled its new 2014 Quattroporte sedan ahead of its official debut at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show.
The new 2014 Quattroporte, which is expected to go on sale late 2013, is expected to come with an option two new engines that are engineered by Maserati but built by Ferrari in Maranello.
The two Ferrari-sourced engines include, a supercharged V6 engine that will produce a total output of 420hp and a turbocharged V8 that generates an output of 520hp.
Maserati plans to enhance its annual sales to around 50,000 units by 2015, with the introduction of new 2014 Quattroporte sports sedan.
Additionally, the company said it is also planning to launch a smaller sedan than the Quattroporte, which will be called the Ghibli.
