Speaking to PN,Iuliana Nita,global marketing manager,food and beverage,process systems division at Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics,said that many industries are becoming aware about the limitations of using phthalates in certain applications,especially food.She said that its new product can be used with vending machines or filling machines,for example.
Studies have linked them to a range of food safety issues,including disruption of the hormone endocrine,which some scientists claim can contribute to the development of some forms of cancer.
