United Fire Group has appointed Corey Ruehle as Midwest region branch manager, effective 1 July 2012, following the retirement of the current branch manager Doug Penn.
In his new role, Corey will be responsible for commercial lines business's overall performance in the Midwest region including states of Arkansas, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota and South Dakota.
As a part of the region, the firm's service center handles customer service for small- and mid-sized accounts for the United Fire business states.
United Fire Group president & CEO Randy Ramlo said, "I am very confident that Corey will be able to maintain the consistency and profitability that the Midwest region has achieved in the past."
With 16 years of insurance industry experience, Corey joined United Fire Group in 2001 and served as underwriting manager for the Midwest region.
