Doodles Creek Recalls Its Salad Dressing in Australia

Doodles Creek has recalled its salad dressing in Australia as it may contain dairy that is not mentioned on the labeling, according to the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ).

The product associated with the recall is Doodles Creek Caesar Dressing Best before BB 26 September 2013, BB 3 December 2013, BB 25 January 2014.

FSANZ noted that the recall has been initiated as the non compliant labeling- Dairy free is claimed on the front of product, however the product contains dairy, as declared in the ingredient list.

This recalled product from Australia has been distributed to independent grocery stores and delicatessens across Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled product are advised not to consume and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Consumption of this product may cause illness in people allergic or intolerant to dairy.
