Biz Journal reported that lawyers for RG Steel LLC’s parent company are seeking to recoup millions of dollars in payments the steel maker made to its suppliers in the three months leading up to its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in May.
That’s going to mean a major impact for the Baltimore-area businesses like those lawyer Glenn Solomon represents. Solomon, a principal at law firm Offit Kurman, represents about 10 companies that provided goods and services to RG’s Sparrows Point steel mill before RG went bust last year.
