Motor Row Brewing has unveiled its new brewing facility in Chicago, Illinois.
Spread over an area of around 8,700ft2, the $2.7m brewery is located inside the former Federal Motor Car Co. showroom.
The facility includes brewing operations, distribution space, a retail/tasting room and a full taproom that will be open to the public starting in January 2015.
Commenting on the development, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said: "Today we are marking another step in the transformation of Motor Row into Chicago's next entertainment district.
"This is a prime example of how public investment leads to private businesses like Motor Row Brewing betting on the future of this historic neighborhood and bringing new jobs and opportunities to the area."
Motor Row Brewing is a craft brewery specializing in lager beers. The company expects to produce around 3,000 barrels of beer for distribution to bars and restaurants in Chicago and to be sold on site.
