Telematics and Applications Firm Autonet Mobile Has Launched Mopar Connect

US Internet-based telematics and applications firm Autonet Mobile has launched Mopar Connect, fully backed by its technological platform for vehicles, to help consumers control their cars via smartphones.

The application, touted as fully connected car solution system, is capable of not only locking doors but also opening the trunk of a vehicle through Mopar Connect, which is stated to offer a secure and reliable connection with the car.

Autonet Mobile president Phil Hughes said: "The demands of the connected driver are rapidly changing... Autonet Mobile is excited to power the Mopar Connect system and include our technology into a full suite of cloud solutions available to Chrysler customers across the country."

The Cloud-based services offered through Mopar Connect aid in bridging car owners with their vehicles on a constant basis at any coordinates in a given point of time.

Besides, the in-car wifi systems provide the services of alarm notifications, 'find my car' feature, valet mode, speed tracker, curfew management, geo zones and parental controls. Its functionality includes other features that can be categorized under remote operations found with the key ring.

The Mopar Connect can be readily spotted in the new vehicles - Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram. It can also be installed by dealers in the existing car variants.
