Chung Hung Steel, one of the major carbon steel re-rolling mills and welded pipe makers in Taiwan, has announced its December price on November 25th. Due to the weak local market demand, Chung Hung Steel has announced to keep its December prices flat for both export and Taiwan domestic markets. Alsop, this is the second months that the company leaves its price unchanged. After the announcement, its new listed export price for hot roll coil will be about US$570~US$580/ton FOB and that for cold roll coil will be about US$660~US$680/ton FOB. Chung Hung Steel is also the subsidiary of Taiwan's China Steel Corp. (CSC) Therefore, some market participants expected that it might be highly possibility for CSC to keep its new price unchanged as well.
