Reportedly, Taiwan’s China Steel Corp (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan announced to raise the export prices for its hot and cold rolled coil by US$34~US$56/ton for February-April shipments to Japan.
The increasing prices will become effective to all products all products for both ‘himotsuki’ and long-term contracts accordingly.
Meanwhile, CSC said the international market recently has been improved and it should adjust prices based on current market level.
Besides, the Japanese mills will plan to hike their prices for domestic sales in order to push the demand to return.
