UK-based Castle Foods is recalling its own ready-to-eat foods, labeled as Sangha Foods or Core Foods as they have been prepared in the facilities that are not approved for meat products, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
FSA noted that the production of ready meals was ceased by the local authority on serving a Remedial Action Notice on the 20 February. Distribution of the small number of the short shelf life products produced has been restricted primarily to the London Boroughs and adjoining neighbouring authorities.
The products being with drawn include Chicken Tikka Masala with Rice, Chicken Curry with Rice, Chicken Biryani and Lamb Biryani with Rice. All use by dates of the above mentioned Sangha Foods or Core Foods labeled products are affected by this recall.
No other Castle Foods' products are known to be affected.
