VAI (Vormittag Associates), a US-based provider of ERP software, has announced that Colonial Grocers has selected its ‘S2K for Food’ software, in order to improve inventory management processes, increase productivity and gain insights from its customer and product data.
Colonial Grocers, located in Florida, is an independent wholesale grocery, candy, beverage and tobacco distributor, serving more than 3,000 convenience stores and gas stations in the state.
VAI's S2K software will integrate seamlessly with the Colonial Grocers' technology services such as payroll, shipping, credit card processing, direct store delivery, and forms and labels.
S2K for Food is expected improve visibility of inventory across all of Colonial Grocers' three companies (Payless on the Go, Payless Cash & Carry Club, Colonial Grocers Distribution Services) and also fill rates on all orders delivered. In addition, VAI's BI analytics module will help Colonial Grocers gain more visibility into its products and company data.
Colonial Grocers president Yasin Saad said that as customers worldwide rely on Colonial Grocers for their distribution and wholesale needs, it is critical the company has a food system that streamlines business processes while improving productivity.

VAI eastern territory manager Tony Milano said that VAI S2K for Food Software will enable Colonial Grocers to streamline inventory management processes while reducing costs, saving time and improving planning and forecasting.
