German automaker Audi is set to introduce its new A3 Cabriolet at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which will be held in Germany from 10 to 22 September 2013.
This new model will be available with three newly developed engines including two turbo fuel stratified injection (TFSI) engines and one turbocharged direct injection (TDI) engine.
Two TFSI engines, 1.8 and 1.4, will produce 103 kW (140 hp) and 132 kW (180 hp) from 1.4l and 1.8l of engine displacement respectively.
The TDI engine range available includes 2.0 TDI which produces 110 kW (150 hp); 1.6 TDI with 81 kW (110 hp) to the 2.0 TFSI.
The 1.8 TSFI engine features with a seven-speed S tronic power transmission technology along with Audi drive select vehicle dynamics system; the 1.4 TFSI and 2.0 TDI are each paired with a manual six-speed transmission.
All these engines in the A3 Cabriolet are equipped with direct injection, turbocharging and start-stop-system technologies.
Assistance systems of the new car include driver information system with attention assist, which includes adaptive cruise control, Audi side assist, Audi active lane assist, camera-based traffic sign recognition, park assist with selective display and various feature levels of the Audi pre sense safety system.
It will be offered in three trim lines including Attraction; Ambition and Ambiente and is available in 16 different exterior paint colors and 16in to 19in wheels.
