Mercedes-Benz do Brazil, a Brazilian subsidiary of Daimler, has received an order for the delivery of 607 Mercedes-Benz trucks to two major customers in Brazil.
The company will deliver 357 medium-duty Mercedes-Benz Atron to Minas Gerais state and the remining Mercedes-Benz trucks of the Atron and Axor type to the leasing company Ouro Verde from Paraná.
The 357 Atron dumper trucks will be used in Minas Gerais for maintenance and expansion of the road infrastructure within the framework of the municipal development aid program, ProMunicípio.
Ouro Verde leasing company has ordered 250 new Mercedes-Benz Atron and Axor trucks to expand its palette of fleet vehicles for use by companies from different sectors.
Mercedes-Benz do Brasil president and Daimler Trucks Latin America CEO Philipp Schiemer said: "These two major orders are the result of the strong commitment of our team in Brazil and the continuous investments in our products and production locations."
