Spectrum Chemicals & Laboratory Products has signed a new distribution agreement with TCI America, an affiliate of Tokyo Chemical Industries.
The deal is expected to provide Spectrum with access to line of organics for biochemical, R&D, medicinal chemistry and general laboratory use and enhances the Spectrum's chemical offering to over 40,000 chemicals.
Spectrum's emphasis is on USP, NF, FCC, BP, EP, JP and ACS grade products, active pharmaceutical ingredients and controlled substances, excipients, dietary supplements, biochemicals, pre-made solutions, and a line of high-purity solvents for critical analytical applications.
Spectrum general manager Mark Hurd said: "The addition of TCI America's line of research chemicals gives Spectrum access to the early research and scientific development processes in bioscience, glyco-chemistry, material science and organometallic reagents."
