Dole Food, a US-based producer and marketer of fruit and fresh vegetables, has unveiled new Banana Dippers, which feature frozen banana slices covered in dark chocolate.
The company stated that the new product offers 120 calories or less per serving. It is available in two flavors, Dole Banana Dippers Dark Chocolate and Dole Banana Dippers Dark Chocolate with Almonds.
Dole Packaged Foods senior business manager Vanessa Beltran said that Dole Banana Dippers can be served as a midday snack or as a way to end a meal.
"When it comes to snacking, we know women are looking for guilt-free treats, so we are excited to introduce the perfect pairing of fruit and chocolate," Beltran added.
Available in the frozen fruit aisle of retailers, the Dole Banana Dippers box containing six individual packs of four dark chocolate covered Dole banana slices is priced between $3.49 and $3.99.
