General Mills, a US-based food company, has initiated a voluntary recall of a limited quantity of refrigerated Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing, as the dough used may contain fragments from a broken piece of plastic on the production line.
The products subject to recall include 8-count single and double packages of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing, Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing 2-pack featuring best before dates of 30OCT2013 and 31OCT2013; and 18OCT2013, 26OCT2013 and 31OCT2013 respectively.
The recall does not affect other flavors or varieties of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls or Pillsbury dough products.
Customers who have purchased the affected products have been advised to contact the company for a replacement.
