Canada-based Moosehead Breweries has selected United States Beverage (USB) as its new importer in the US, effective 1 November 2014.
Under the partnership, USB will be responsible for sales, marketing and distribution of Moosehead portfolio which includes its Hop City craft brands.
Prior to this, Moosehead Breweries' affiliate Moosehead USA had imported the company's brands.
Moosehead Breweries president and CEO Andrew Oland said: "Following a thorough review of our U.S. operations, and in light of the rapid changes and evolution taking place in the U.S. Beer market, we have decided to build the future of our brands with United States Beverage.
"USB has a long and successful history of building brands in the U.S. and our teams have worked successfully in the past on other significant projects. We believe this opportunity with USB will solidify and grow our portfolio in the important United States market."
USB's also distributes Murphy's Stout and Red Ale from Ireland, Tiger Beer from Singapore, The Grupo Damm portfolio of brands from Spain, John Smith's Extra Smooth Ale from England, and Brasseurs de Gayant from France, besides others.
