ubAlert LLC today announced the addition of the Android app on Google Play to its growing social network. The global emergency warning platform, which alerts users of the location and severity of real-time disasters, is already available for iOS, SMS, and email.
Android phone users now can receive push notifications containing details, impact statistics, maps, images, and videos in the event of a natural or man-made disaster in their locations. ubAlert LLC produces this real-time information from the combination of verified sources and its expanding network of users.
"With emergencies including floods, terrorist attacks, and flu epidemics taking place all over the world, we want to provide an effective product that will protect people worldwide and serve as a community for those impacted by disasters," says Lauren Lin, Director of Strategic Development of ubAlert LLC.
