China's Producer Price Index Decreased by 1.9 Percent Compared to December 2011

In December last year,China's producer price index(PPI)decreased by 1.9 percent compared to December 2011 and indicated a slight decline of 0.1 percent compared with November 2012,according to China's National Bureau of Statistics.Meanwhile,China's PPI for the whole of 2012 decreased by 1.7 percent on year-on-year basis.Also in December 2012,China's consumer price index(CPI)witnessed a year-on-year increase of 2.5 percent,while it was up by 0.8 percent month on month.China's CPI for the whole year of 2012 increased by 2.6 percent compared to 2011.
