Opel has introduced revamped Opel Corsa with new technologies and improved fuel saving.
The car is powered by 1.3 CDTI ecoFlex diesel engine, capable of producing 95 hp and 190 Nm of torque.
It features the latest generation turbocharger which facilitates superior drive and acceleration at low revs.
The three door car is equipped by new Easytronic 3.0 transmission which consumes 3.1 liter per 100 kilometers and emits 82 grams of CO2 per kilometer.
When compared to the conventional automatic transmission the five-speed Easytronic 3.0 weighs less, and has lower internal friction.
Easytronic 3.0 has improved fuel-efficient gear based on a manual transmission which is optimized for small engines which facilitates economical driving, the company said.
Opel has used automated transmission in combination with Start/Stop technology which is capable of reducing fuel consumption even in urban areas.
The company has also developed a special gearwheel for the automated transmission, and the Easytronic 3.0 facilitates manual gear shifting via push and pull operation of the gearshift.
Opel Sales & Aftersales vice president Peter Christian Küspert said: "Our automated five-speed manual transmission in the new Corsa is a real highlight for price-conscious customers who do not want to miss the comfort of an automatic.
"When combined with the frugal diesel the small car becomes an efficiency giant. Therefore, it is perfect for both short urban shopping trips and longer journeys."
