Grundfos has appointed Thomas Morrison as executive vice president of the company’s US Water Utility business.
Reporting directly to Jonathan Hamp-Adams, the recently appointed general manager of Grundfos USA, Morrison will have complete profit and loss responsibility, including sales and operations.
He takes over from Dieter Sauer, who was promoted earlier this year to regional managing director for Grundfos Americas.
“My goals for the Water Utility team include continuing the strong growth trajectory we have been able to realise over the past three years in the US,” said Morrison.
“We will continue to add new and exciting product to our portfolio and localise engineering and manufacturing of our main product lines. In addition we will continue to grow brand awareness, acceptance and loyalty among our expanding customer base of municipal water and wastewater system operators and managers.”
Morrison, who joined Grundfos in 2007, will be based out of the company’s Aurora facility in Illinois.
