NACS Said That Several States in The Us Are Offering Tax Credits for The Creation for EV

Convenience & Fuel Retailing association, National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) said that several states in the US are offering tax credits for the creation of charging stations for electric vehicles (EV).

The association announced that Washington and Oregon has already installed recharging stations at convenient intervals within a gap of 25 to 50 miles on major travel corridors.

The state of California is also planning to add charging stations along its length of I-5, which is expected to extend to Mexico and has been dubbed "West Coast Electric Highway".

It announced that Maryland is offering a tax credit of 20% of the cost, up to $400, along with rebate of 50% of the cost, up to $900 for individuals.

The District of Columbia is also offering 50% of the cost of installing a charging station, while Arizona is offering $75 tax credit for installing charging equipment, and Louisiana is offering 50% tax credit.

New York is offering income tax credit of 50% of the cost of charging equipment covers up to $5,000, and Oklahoma is providing 75% tax credit.
