Taiwanese Steel Pipe Makers Might Raise The Prices Further for April

It’s reported that the Taiwanese steel pipe makers might raise the prices further by NT$500~NT$600/ton for April to reflect Chung Hung Steel’s possible price rise.

Chung Hung Steel, one of the major upstream raw material suppliers to steel pipe makers in Taiwan is expected to hike its prices for hot rolled steel products by NT$500~NT$600/ton for April due to high slab prices.

It’s known that the steel pipe makers stared to raise list prices since this January. The price rise for small-diameter black pipes has reached NT$2,200/ton since this January until March.
