Hsin Kuang Steel, one of the major steel service centers in Taiwan has announced its sales revenue in December totaled NT$703 million, decreasing by 3% from a month ago but soaring by 31.4% year on year. Meanwhile, the company realized sales revenues of NT$1.878 billion, rising by 6% from a quarter ago and surging by 33.5% year on year. The company said that its shipping volumes increased in the first quarter as the steel market prices bottomed out. For the prospect, it’s expected that Hsin Kuang Steel would have positive sales in the first quarter of this year if steel prices continue moving up.
