WSP Spolem Kielce, one of Poland’s manufacturers of mayonnaise, has chosen the 350ml Euro Squeeze bottle from RPC Promens Consumer Corby for its newest range of sauces.
The project also demonstrates RPC’s ability to provide a complete container and closure solution following the recent arrival of Global Closure Systems (GCS) into the group, who are supplying caps with silicone valves to WSP Spolem.
Inspired by traditional recipes, the new sauces – Garlic, American and Hamburger – boast a distinctive taste and an appetising aroma. Importantly, they do not contain preservatives. The Euro Squeeze bottle features a multilayer PP/EVOH/PP construction, which prevents oxygen ingress to deliver a long shelf life, while its squeezability provides easy dosing for maximum consumer convenience.
The launch of the new sauces follows the successful debuts of mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup from WSP Spolem in a 520ml Euro Squeeze bottle in 2015.
President of WSP Spolem Michael Mius says the bottles are ideal for the company’s products: "We like to meet the expectations of our consumers – hence the idea to distribute our sauces in barrier plastic. We believe that this solution will allow for a very comfortable and hygienic end-user experience.
"During briefings, GCS offered us different closures tailored to the specific densities and configurations of our products, and we were able to choose the most appropriate for our requirements. We appreciate our cooperation with RPC Promens, not least because of their open communication and guidance."
WSP Spolem has a reputation for manufacturing food products of very high quality, and for this reason, the company only works with suppliers who meet its stringent standards.
