McLaren introduced its track-focused race car P1 GTR at the 2014 Pebble Beach concours d'elegance.
It features 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 and lightweight electric motor that can generate 986bhp horsepower, which can be compared to Bugatti Veyron and La Ferrari. The powerful engine can accelerate the car from 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds.
P1 GTR also features fixed-height twin-element rear wing, which is mounted on Carbon-fiber pylons and fitted with hydraulic Drag Reduction System. This design claimed to improve the rear portion of the car with a smooth surface, which would help reduce turbulence and improve airflow.
The 19-inch alloy wheel is wrapped in slicks designed with tyre maker Pirelli and the front tracker is 80mm wider.
The onboard air jacking system along with the quick-release centre locking wheel nuts are designed to make the tire changing process easier.
The car's twin-pipe setup, which is placed within a carbon-fiber rear diffuser, is made using titanium alloy and inconel, which are designed to maximize the aural characteristic to improve the sound of the car.
The production of this superfast car will start after the car makers stop the production of the standard P1s version.
Reports suggest that the car will cost around £1.98m, including an exclusive drivers program, which will offer training and access to the technology and resource through out McLaren Technology Centre in the UK.
