With only one in 10 sheets of copy paper being recycled in Australia, Planet Ark has introduced the Friday File Fling to its range of activities for this year's National Recycling Week (12-18 November).
Friday 16 November has been nominated by Planet Ark as the day for people to de-clutter their filing cabinets and "give used paper another life".
"Although this element focuses on recycling in the workplace, it's also a great excuse to go through old paperwork, bills and other files around the house and have a good clean out," said Planet Ark spokesperson Jess McCallum.
Planet Ark's 'Cartridges 4 Planet Ark' program is also involved in National Recycling Week.
