Abita Brewing Set to Introduce a New Beer Called Grapefruit Harvest IPA in December

US-based Abita Brewing is set to introduce a new beer called Grapefruit Harvest IPA in December.

The new beer is brewed by using Louisiana Ruby-Red grapefruit, pale, pilsner, wheat and caramel malts, as well as cascade hops.

The brewery is also planning to introduce its Andygator beer in six-packs, while it is currently available in 22 ounce bottles and as a draft brew.

Andygator is a high-gravity beer, which is brewed by using pale malt, German lager yeast, and German Perle hops, a comes with 8% ABV.

Abita Brewing president David Blossman said that the consumers have been expecting Andygator beer in six-packs from very long time.

"With our new line and planned improvements to the brewhouse, we're ready to start rolling out Andygator in this format in October," Blossman added.

The brewery produces year round beers such as Abita Amber, Golden, Light, Turbodog, Purple Haze, Jockamo and Restoration Pale Ale.
