French automaker Citroen has revealed Citroen Cactus M concept car, which is based on the company’s Cactus hatchback.
The car has an open-top architecture which is permanent in nature and drivers will have to use a the lightweight canvas arrangement as a tent to get the roof.
The £12,990 car will be available in two engine options which includes the PureTech family of 3-cylinder Turbo PureTech engine that uses technology which makes the car responsive and fuel-efficient.
The BlueHDi 100 engine releases CO2 emissions of 82g/km and fuel consumption as low as 3.1l/100km.
In terms of design, the front and rear of the car have been kept similar to the ones used in Cactus, but the rest has been redesigned.
Citroen has used also used new age technology in the car to enhance the safety of the passengers and driver.
Some of the technologies include hill start assist system, which automatically applies the brakes for two seconds to make it easy to starts on gradients of more than 3%.
It also features Static cornering lights that are designed to provide an extra beam to light up the inside of bends, and Park Assist system that is capable of automatically finds a parking space.
