Japan JFE Steel Announced to Develop The First Continuous Hot Galvanizing in Indonesia

It is reported that Japan JFE steel announced to develop the first continuous hot galvanizing in Indonesia, the production line by JFE steel subsidiaries Indonesia JFE galvanizing steel companies to create and operate.

The new plant will be able to produce thickness of 0.4mm-2.3mm, width of 800mm-1850mm galvanized sheet with annual production capacity could reach 400,000 tons and total investment of US$3 billion.

The new project expects to compete and start the operation from March 2016.

Meanwhile, JFE steel said the galvanizing line was built for the automobile market in Asia's third production line, the other two in mainland China and Thailand.
