A 100% Subsidiary of Tata Power Developing The 4,000 MW Mundra Ultra Mega Power Plant

Business Line reported that Coastal Gujarat Power Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of TATA Power developing the 4,000 MW Mundra Ultra Mega Power Plant, provided free healthcare treatment to the Tragadi bunder fishermen community at Mundra.

This initiative was organized under the Arogya program implemented by CGPL. The company is a special purpose vehicle formed for setting up and operating the 4,000 MW Mundra UMPP. CGPL has signed a Power Purchase Agreement with seven procurers from 5 States, that is Gujarat, Maharashtra, Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab for the sale of contracted capacity.

Mr KK Sharma chief of Mundra Project said that “It is our endeavor to improve the quality of life of our communities through such health camps and we are proud to drive such initiatives for their well being.”
