It's reported that the major steel long product manufacturers in the US including Gerdau North America, ArcelorMittal North America have announced to raise prices for steel wire products by US$30/short ton. Also, Gerdau North America announced to hiked its prices for section steel products by US$10/short tons, effective from December 13rd. It's learned that the price rise was boosted by increased scrap prices.
