Projection art may be new to many,but its history dates back to the mid-1990′s.The series"Topographic Projection and Implied Geometries"by Jim Sandborn places geometric forms on larger natural formations.

To do this,Sandborne traveled across the American Southwest as well as the coastline of Ireland to find the perfect backdrops to project his patterns on.
On his travels,he carried a generator,a large format projector and camera equipment to capture the scene he sets up.The resulting pieces showcase magnificent natural and mathematic art.
