ACDC Employees Completed The Snowdonia Charity Challenge

ACDC employees completed the Snowdonia Charity Challenge on Saturday 7 July,in support of the charity REGAIN.

Set in Snowdonia National Park in Wales the'ACDC Bandits'–consisting of Gareth Frankland,Paul Whittaker,Paul Wilkinson and Nik Gardener–completed the challenge which included cycling, climbing and canoeing over a single day.

The ACDC bandits finished the event in seven hours and 17 minutes, which was within their eight-hour target. The team also met their financial target of 2,000 pound, but further donations can still be made through their Just Giving page.

Gareth Frankland said of the day:"We had an incredible experience–40 miles of cycling,a ten mile walk up a bit of a hill and a bit of a canoe round a lake, which was a walk in the park(my legs are telling me otherwise). But it made a huge difference knowing that we were raising money for a great cause".

The money raised from the challenge will go to REGAIN,a charity that supports men and women paralysed tetraplegically in sporting accidents.
